Wine has always been sexy... think Bacchus didn't have "getting sideways" on his mind when he uncorked an amphora? Now it's time to put the adult back in this adult beverage.
New York Wine Salon is having their first event: The Sexiest Wines in the City, February 13 {Valentine's Eve} at VinoVino in Tribeca. Try some French (and other) ticklers, blanc bombshells, hot pinks, and wines from the "red light district."
Wines include: Piper-Heidsieck's "corset bottle" Champagne, Naked Grape Pinot Grigio, Eroica Riesling, Savanna Samson's "Sogno Due," plus The Show Malbec, "Fourplay," "Seduction," "Rapture," Mollydooker "Carnival of Love," Cupid's Arrow Pinot Noir, Marilyn Merlot "Velvet Collection" and Italy's sexy red sparkler: Brachetto d'Acqui.
Lip-smacking finger food will be served... puffy gougeres, tea-smoked shrimp, caramelized onioin tarts, assorted salumi and cheeses.... And, of course, there will be chocolate.
